Hi, I’m nicole!

I’m a native English speaker from Chicago, USA. I’ve been teaching English in person and online since 2011 to children and adults worldwide, and I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Master of Arts in English.

Language is my lifelong passion, and I am honored to be a part of your pursuit of English proficiency! I became an English teacher because of a love of English (even the grammar!) and a desire to work with people from cultures that may be different from mine. Years later, I still feel honored to learn just as much from you, my student, as I hope you learn from me.

I am a language learner myself and have studied French, Spanish, Russian, and most recently, Portuguese. I live in São Paulo, Brazil, and work daily to improve my language skills.

In my free time, I also enjoy playing the piano, reading, and practicing yoga or other exercises.

I look forward to meeting you and working with you on your English journey!
